2020 Annual Report

Resilience. We believe that single word was experiential throughout 2020, be it through our continued service levels to our membership while in the midst of the pandemic to our employees support of one another in these unparalleled times to the recovery we sustained within our financials to finish the year in a positive financial position. This is why our theme for our 2020 annual report is Resilience. Our focus in 2020 was our belief in what is most fundamentally important in everything we did ...YOU. For those who have been with us for many years, we thank you for your continued trust in us. For those new to Aventa, we’re excited to support you on your financial journey to help you achieve all of your goals. Regardless of how long you have been part of Aventa, we will continue to work and earn your loyalty with a commitment to make YOU the focus of everything we do. We’re listening. We want you to know what is most important…YOU. As a member-owned credit union, Aventa doesn’t funnel profits to investors on Wall Street or profit individual stockholders. Profits are returned to members in the form of higher dividends, lower loan rates, fewer fees…they benefit You. It is simply and truly why we exist. The achievements of 2020 reflect our financial journey: • Achieved RecordAssets: The credit union nearly achieved the $245 million mark as a financial institution. • Achieved Record Deposits: Members entrusted us with $220.4 million in deposits. • Achieved Record Loans: Members improved their quality of life with over $77.6 million in loans last year with the credit union ending the year with a record $195.7 million in outstanding loans. Our members continued to make Aventa their lender of choice. We provided $22.1 million for home loans in 2020. Chairman’s and President’s Report 1
